Strength, temperature, finish and corrosion-resistance requirements are determined by the technical specification and batch certificate.
GOST comparison
An approximate grade match is not proof of interchangeability. Check the heat chemistry, mechanical properties, delivery condition, dimensions and project requirements. GOST 5632-2014 concerns grades and chemical composition; finished strip may require separate product standards.

Availability of this grade in each format, dimensions and lead times must be confirmed. AISI designations alone are not a certificate of conformity.
